You often do not think of giant corporations as something with a good heart. However, Boraie Development is a real estate company that is passionate about their city. Having been ran by the 72-year-old patriarch, Omar Boraie, this Corporation has been conducting business in New Brunswick, New Jersey for over 30 years. During that time, they have shown great compassion to the city and have donated over $150 million to help grow the infrastructure. Any profit that was made by the investment was used to create a trust fund that continues to give students grants were looking to attend college in New Brunswick.

Omar Boraie and his real estate company stand out because of their warm and tender heart toward the city. In a loving article published by the New Jersey Stage, you get to see a glimpse into the heart of a wonderful man.

Omar Boraie saw that many families in New Brunswick were not getting the quality time that they needed with one another. He approached his friends who work at the Provident Bank Foundation to see if they could create a memorable experience for the families. They agreed to bankroll a free movie night if the State Theater would host. Soon the plan was coming to fruition.

In the beginning, only one movie was shown for free. However, when they saw how excited the community was, they grew the event to encompass seven different movies that spans over seven different weeks. Each movie was shown two different times so that families would have a better chance of seeing each movie.

The event was attended by 7500 families. However, over the years the event grew so that more nonprofits were attending. Omar Boraie began to see clubs, camps, churches, old folks homes, and similar groups coming out to attend the event. You can visit Central jersey Working Moms for more.

This upcoming year, Omar Boraie is hoping to sponsor a free movie every week for the entire summer. This will allow families to plan to spend time with each other every week. Check out their website boraie.com

Communities need more businesses like this in order to thrive. Very often we think of corporations as evil ice cold machines that are only looking to churn out a profit. When a business reinvests into its community, the people become grateful and begin to give that business more profit by purchasing from them since they trust them. In the end, it is a win-win situation.
