Sameer Jejurikar Is Honored For His Compassion

May 11, 2018 |

Dr. Sameer Jejurikar, a Dallas, Texas based plastic surgeon, has been honored by his patients for his compassionate nature by being the recipient of the 2012 Compassionate Doctor Certification. The award was given out by Patients’ Choice, and the doctor was one of a very small group of physicians to receive such an honor. Before this, it was already known that he was and still is ranked as one of the leading physicians in the United States. This is not only based on the outcome of his surgeries but also by the good recommendations that his patients constantly give out for him.

On a yearly basis, close to 100 million patients from the United States leave their opinions or offer feedback on websites just like Patients’ Choice about their experiences with different medical professionals. Just 3% of the nation’s nearly 1 million active physicians receive the honor of being called a Compassionate Doctor, and these physicians must have an almost flawless score related to the way they treat their patients while serving them. This recognition program allows patients to rate and cast a vote for their most beloved medical professional. When asked about the honor, Dr. Sameer Jejurikar commented that he was very happy to receive the notification and that he was grateful for his patients who took time out of their busy schedules to vote him up.

Dr. Sameer Jejurikar is not only an experienced plastic surgeon who focuses on cosmetic surgery, but he also has published work in many different publications including Microsurgery,

the Journal of Surgical Research, the Annals of Plastic Surgery, Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery, and the Aesthetic Surgery Journal. He received his training and education from the University of Michigan where he completed his undergraduate studies, the University of Michigan Medical School where he was a part of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society, the University of Michigan Medical Center where he finishes his plastic surgery residency, and the Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital where he studied aesthetic surgery.
